Q: The G Series portable electric coffee grinder has a five-level adjustable grind setting. Which brewing methods is it suitable for?

A: Different people have different preferences for coffee. According to various coffee brewing methods, we recommend the grind settings of the grinder from fine to coarse as follows:


(Finest) Moka pot < Cold Brew < Pour-over < oceanrich Rotated Pour Over Coffee Maker < Syphon < French Press (Coarsest)


Q: Can the G Series portable electric coffee grinder be washed with water?

A: The G Series portable electric coffee grinder uses a ceramic grinding core. Therefore, apart from the part containing the electric motor, which should not come into contact with water, the other parts can be washed with water, including the grinding burrs.


Q: Can the G Series portable electric coffee grinder be used while charging?

A: We would like to remind our customers that the grinder cannot be used for coffee grinding while it is being charged.


Q: If the glass container of the G Series portable electric coffee grinder is accidentally broken, can I purchase a replacement?

A: You can purchase the dedicated glass container for the G Series grinder (including the lid) on the official oceanrich shopping website.

Q: Can the G Series portable electric coffee grinder be used to grind other things?

A: The G Series grinder can also be used to grind larger particles of tea leaves, such as high mountain tea and Pouchong tea, etc. However, we do not recommend mixing coffee grinding with other substances, as it may introduce other flavours into the coffee.


Q: How long does it take to fully charge the G Series portable electric coffee grinder? How many times can it grind on a single charge?

A: It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the G Series grinder.
On a full charge, it can grind about (G1) 15 times / (G2) 20 
times with a grinding volume of 10g each time.

We recommend recharging when only one blue light is left to ensure that the grinder does not stop before completing the grinding.


Q: What should I do if the G Series portable electric coffee grinder does not start or stops after a few seconds of operation?

A:

Step 1: Check if the battery has enough charge. If it needs a short charge before use, make sure the battery level is above 2 bars.


Step 2: If the grinder still doesn't start or stops after a few seconds, empty the bean hopper and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. The battery indicator lights will cycle like a marquee, and once they go out, the reset process is complete.
